Off Hill Winter Activities

There are many scenic lookouts in the area, as well as nearby rest stops, dining, shops and pubs to enjoy along the way. The Blue Mountains, Collingwood and surrounding South Georgian Bay region includes two Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs Districts, District 9 and 8.  Ontario law requires every recreational sled entering an OFSC Prescribed Trail to have and display a valid snowmobile trail permit. ofsc.on.ca

District 8

MID ONTARIO SNOWMOBILE TRAILS (MOST) is an association of 10 snowmobile clubs located in District 8 of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.  The 10 member clubs are: Barrie Snowmobile Club, Bonsecour Track & Trail Snowmobile Club, Blue Mountain Snowdrifters, Carden Sno Drifters, Georgian Bay Snowriders, Kawartha Lakes Snowmobile Club, Orillia District Snowmobile Club, Osprey Snowhawks, Sno Voyageurs Club, and the Wasaga Snowmobile Club. Our area is blessed with an abundance of snow due to our close proximity to Georgian Bay, and those great Northwesterly winds we receive in the winter which create snow squalls capable of dumping huge amounts of snow.
