WIth 14 kilometers of white sand it is the longest fresh water beach in the world. With a boardwalk, trails, water sport rentals, restaurants and shopping nearby, there is something for the whole family to do. The Wasaga Beach water front area is undergoing an extensive renovation and new stores and restaurants are opening all the time.
Sunset Point Park, Collingwood
Not just a grear place to take in a sunset, the park features a large green space, rock beach, playground, volleyball courts, trails, and snack area, Sunset Point Park offers lots of places for families to simply relax and swim.
Millennium Park, Collingwood
Previously an "untamed" area of town, Millennium Park has been transformed into a gorgeous place to relax. Featuring landscaped walkways and gardens, Millennium Park offers amazing views of The Blue Mountains and The Nottawasaga Lighthouse.
Northwinds Beach, Craigleith
Northwinds is a lovely public beach less than 2km from The Village at Blue Mountain. It is a popular spot for kayaking, windsurfing, and stand up paddle boarding. Northwinds is also the starting point for excursions to the Mary Ward shipwreck located 4 km offshore.
